Roene M. Wood

Roene M. Wood holds the longest tenure on the Fair Board of any member since its inception. She was involved with the Fair as a 4-H leader, exhibitor and department manager for 10 years before she joined the Board in 1947. She served on the Board for 50 years and was affiliated with the Fair for 60. For most of the years prior to 1963, she served as Vice President and the Home Economics Department Director. The next 31 years she served as Secretary-Treasurer.
